Install the PWA on iOS

Install PhotoRecipes as an app on your iPhone or iPad for quick access and offline support.

Open the PWA

  1. Open the PWA link above in Safari on your iPhone or iPad. The install option is only available in Safari on iOS.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll and select Add to Home Screen.
  4. Optionally edit the name, then tap Add in the top-right corner.
  5. You’ll now find PhotoRecipes as an app icon on your Home Screen. Launch it like any other app.

Tips

  • Make sure you have a good internet connection the first time you open the PWA to cache resources.
  • If you don’t see “Add to Home Screen”, ensure you’re using Safari and the site is loaded over HTTPS.
  • On iPad, the Share button may appear at the top-right of the address bar.
